I added a tattoo of a butterfly, it is beautiful, however the artist asked me if i wanted red under the wings?

PA

red under the wings to make them stand out. Without thinking it through I said yes. I am not happy with the red, to me it looks like drawing outside the lines. Is there a way to re-ink the red so its not so noticeable or do we have to re-do the whole thing only bigger
Thank you for your answers, I did contact the artist and he said he would work on a solution..I think the red thing may have been his trade mark, but I do take some responsibility for saying "yes" I would post a picture but dont know how on this forum..again thanks for your answers

Answer
You and an artist need to sit down and figure out how to make it part of the design or a way to cover it up, because changing the color probably wouldn't change the 'outside the lines' effect. And if you go to the same artist he shouldn't charge you as much, if at all, to correct it since it was his crappy idea.

The "where" factor of a tattoo for a girl.?

Nicole

Are there any really decent spots for a girl to get a tattoo? I'm probably being picky but I can't think of any that are too appealing (and yes you could say, "Then just don't get a tattoo" but I'm still aiming for it regardless).

I was thinking about getting a shamrock design on my lower back (tramp stamp, I know) or just above my bikini line. But if I go with the first supposedly I'm automatically trashy and if I choose the second I'm afraid it'll stretch out and become disfigured over the years -- I'm not beyond gaining weight or pregnancy in the long run. I thought about the inside of my wrist (would that hurt a lot?) or as a tattooed on bracelet. I wouldn't want it on the outside of my ankle or anywhere on my legs or chest. The back of the neck seems pointless too, I don't wear my hair up that high. I was also considering the bracelet effect on my upper arm, but that would be difficult to cover. Any ideas what I should go with? Thanks!

Answer
I got a tattoo of a rose an butterfly on my right forearm I really like it there I also don't think having a tattooo on your lower back is a tramp stamp. That is so stupid. I see a lot of girls with them on there backs I am even gonna get one on there in the next couple of weeks. I don't care what people think about that. And neither should anyone else. Don't listen to what people say it looks awesome to have one there don't pay anyone no mind of what they think or say. My husband for 14 years even agrees they look cool there no different than when girls put them on there breasts now that's a tramp stamp for sure. Get that shamrock tattoo put on your back we both think that would look awesome. Let me know what u decide. Good Luck in whatever u decide to put one at.
