Help with butterfly tattoo? Please read?

Okay, so I know that butterfly tattoos are really cliche. But when I was little, my mom used to sing the the song "Butterfly Kisses," by Bob Carlisle to me every night. It's very special to me, and connects me with my mom. I'm trying to get her to get a matching tattoo with me, but I don't know if she will. However, I know I want one. Which of these designs tells our story the best, and would be the least cliche? And on the ones with color, the colors would be teal and yellow, her favorites.

Having several butterflies varying in size with the name of the song would make it not just a boring butterfly tattoo but give it a meaning.

you should bring the pictures to your tattoo artist, usually they can draw. Also, since they know you'll eventually pay them to get that inked on your body they will be more likely to draw it for you then some strangers on the internet

I want it to be a horse shoe with my horses head in the middle of the horse shoe, and then some design or something on the outside of it. Any ideas? please include pictures. Thank You! I like your idea it's good when people pick a design that has meaning rather than just following a trend.

My advice would be to take a picture of your horse into a tattoo studio and explain to them your idea. A decent tattoo artist will gladly draw up a custom design for you, and won't be offended if you don't like the 1st draft. After all it is going to be on your body for a long time.

I want to get a tattoo in honor of my dad who passed away a year ago. I am 18 and was his babygirl. Our song was butterfly kisses so i want it to have something to do with that.Every time i hear that song i think of him. Im not sure where i'm going to put it yet but i want it to be on the smaller side. There are so many people with butterfly tattoos but i want something unique! Any ideas!! Help please!

To make it unique do two things: One, get the butterfly in a tribal design because they are much more masculine for a dad.

i've wanted a tattoo in memory of my dad who passed away when i was younger.
i wanted it to do with the song butterfly kisses by bob carlisle.
so i used the lyrics "& i thank god for all of the joy in my life"
i'm not sure it i should keep the "&" or not.
