Tattoo cover up ideas?

I have a black cross on the lower inside of my ankle. I HATE it. I really want to have something put over it but i have no clue what to put. It is slightly large and black. HELP!

I don't even know were to start with ideas..

Considering the shape of a cross, you could possibly cover it up with a butterfly. That way, the black body of the butterfly will cover the cross and the wings will add a little something extra :)

When I was 15 I was convinced to get a star tattoo on my lower hip. Needless to say, its poorly done. - hardly resembles a star and I just want it gone. Its not filled in, only a thin outline so what kind of tattoo could I do to cover it? I need ideas please, and don't go on a rant telling me to only get tattoos for a purpose. I want one and that's my purpose.

I had a ghetto home-made butterfly tattoo covered up by a blue flower.

You can put anything over it really, except a quote cuz that would look weird. I mean you could do what I did with a flower, or a hummingbird, maybe a clover or a gypsy....

I have an outline of a black butterfly on my stomach But i want to get it covered.
I was thinking maybe a Frangipani.
Would the yellow cover the littler bits of black that are in the middle???

No i dont think the yellow would cover the black outline, but maybe you could turn the butterfly outline into a different pattern maybe? you should ask a tattooist. Or you could have laser surgery, the price depends on the size of the tattoo it starts at about 120 pounds if your willing to do that, put sometimes you may get scarring.

Can you cover a tattoo with a tattoo?

I have the outline of the biohazard symbol on my upperback.
It's just the outline and only in black, probably 3 inches tall and 3 inches wide.

I wanted to get a fairly large dragon and maybe some water or something in the background that could cover up the outline of the biohazard symbol.
This dragon would take time and lots of money of course, which I am willing, and will possibly have color, if not just black and white.

Is this possible with a good tattoo artist, and does anyone have any stories like this?

A friend of mine recently covered an old tattoo she didn't want people to see with a butterfly. The designs in the butterfly camouflaged the old design (dragon scales could do the same thing) and you can not see the old design at all. It looks good.

Ok so I was stupid I will admit and went and got my boyfriends name tattooed on my shoulder..Its under a butterfly which I really like. Now we arnt together and I want rid of the name. Any ideas of a tattoo I can use to cover up the name and will still look good with the butterfly?

The best way would be to change the word into something else. Maybe since it's under a butterfly, you could change the name into like a leaf or something like that?
