iv tried looking on google but theres none that actually stand out to me
i would draw my own but im crap at drawing.
i like plain black tatoos with grey shading, but i dont mind a tiny bit of colour
i want one very pretty and not something with to much detail

there is no such thing as a cute butterfly tattoo. When you see a butterfly tattoo, aside from it being painfully generic and all too common, it typically means one of two things. No.1 - total flippin TRAMP. or No.2 Totally naive child's first tattoo.

The butterfly is a sign of a complete lack of creativity in the tattoo world, and most tattoo artist tense up and curl their toes when they have to do this... meaning they hate it, trust me.

If you must get a tattoo, THINK ABOUT IT, and get something that means something to you.

It's an insect. There's nothing particularly feminine or masculine about a bug. I don't understand why people think that. If the tattoo means something to you, even if it's just something you enjoy looking at, it perfectly a-ok. You said you like it and that's all that matters. I don't understand how having a tattoo of something makes you seem gay. Yes, tattoos are an expression of part of who you are, but if you have butterfly tattoos it's obviously at least a small part of you.

The woman that has a problem with the tattoo would not have been an issue if she hadn't already had a few questions. I think if the man has the kind of sexual confidence to sport a butterfly then all power to him, it shows his feminine side. (unless he is showing a lot of other feminine qualities, then the question of his sexuality arises.) and also kinda depends on the tattoo are we talking a butterfly like "Daises and Rainbows" or realistic stuck with pins or a tattoo made tribal?

Helloo . So I have been wanting to get a butterfly tattoo (colored) on my lower back for a long time... And might get it done tomorrow. How bad does it hurt? And also whats the least painful spot to get one?

Anywhere that is more "fleshy" or where it's not directly on top of bone (Example: ribs) are more likely to hurt less, but you'll still feel "pain" or the tattoo needle on your skin regardless of where you'll get it. Arms and legs (depending exactly where) will usually hurt less--for most people. Places like ribs and feet will hurt more. White ink is also supposed to hurt more than colored or black ink.

Lower back tattoos aren't that bad...but that's really hard to say because I don't know your pain tolerance.

You should have it where YOU want it, not where some random internetter thinks you should have it.

In my opinion, that is a really awful design though. If you like butterflies, there are millions of different designs, all much prettier than that. DO some research and make sure you really do want that one.

I am getting a tattoo on my foot of a butterfly and a scripture. I just want to be prepared for how much pain I'm going to be taking. 0__o on a scale from 1-10 . Any help ?

I've had both done and it wasn't bad. I am making this comparision to some of my more intense areas such as ribs, stomach and chest. Although there is not a lot of muscle surface in the top of the foot it really was not that bad. As far as a rating scale-I'll take the easy way out and say 5. I am certain you can do it!

If you're asking which is worse; pain wise? than I'd say definitely a tattoo on the foot. Tongue piercings are known to be barley painful at all if done right and they're also quicker as well.
