idk what to get as a tattoo.
I dont want anything too big or colorful and i dont want a japanese symbol because thats too common for my taste. Any interesting ideas? easy points

A flower, a butterfly, a heart, a snake, a spider, a logo, some writing, a skull, a star/sun, a moon, a deer, a unicorn, some food, those strange tribal tattoo things that Mike Tyson has, a flag, a face, an eagle, a lion/tiger, some paw prints, a car/motorcycle, your name, someone else's name, a quote, some italian/latin/german/french quote, a cactus, or a leaf.

How are we supposed to know what you want?
Since it's permanent, you should decide for yourself and be 100% sure.

I already have a tattoo on the small of my back (a tiny butterfly), my husband wants to get a tattoo (he doesn't have any). I would really like to get another one and we have discussed about getting tattoos together. We wanted to get something to symbolize our children (we have 2 kids) and have it work so that his tattoo doesn't mean anything without mine and Viceversa, in other words it took both of us to create our kids.
Well I've kinda explained want we want but we have NO IDEA on what to get.

You could easily use the 2 parts of the yin yang symbol:

And this could be very simple, each with a curved teardrop shape that would fit together (any color), or it could be quite complex with each shape holding other images, or made up of other images, but still holding the shape that would fit together to make the whole.

I'm pretty young... but all my life I've been thinking to get a tattoo. I know exactly what it would look like, designs, shape, where to put it and even the pattern of it [w/ words etc.]... I started imagining when I was a little girl. This tattoo in my head is dedicated to a person I will know forever, for the rest of my life... my parents. I have a special age in my mind, 22... I want to get this tattoo at 22. If you are to ask a question, especially YahooAnswers [which has very, unlikeable, opinionated people] then the tattoo might not be suitable for you. You should think of this tattoo for the rest of your life. You have to bare with it until the day you die. You must live with this tattoo. If you really want a tattoo, you should NOT ask this website for suggestions. I can tell you are a very creative person... and in fact, I have somewhat of a feeling that this tattoo represents your strength [The Tiger represents power], and you want to permanently ink that on you. Please tattoo something you KNOW, deep down in your heart. If what I say is right, meaning the part about Strength... then I feel you should do it. I like your tattoo selection and the place you want to put it at. Upper back's are great, like on the right side of it. The fact that it's close to your neck, is pretty smart, because you can chose to hide it with your hair if you like [but then again... it's a tattoo, it's not meant to be hidden]. With a placement close to neck is always good, you have the CHOICE to hide it or not. That's my opinion, I think it would suit you. I like the butterfly, tiger concept. Hope I somewhat helped you!

My husband n I decided to get another tattoo with our income tax,budget of $200. Dont want spend too much.He got his the other night. While there I priced out one for myself. I decided on tiger faced butterfly with some flowers n my name in vine. I added the name part. He gave me a price of $250.not counting tip.I think that is a little steep. I dont know. My husband says maybe cause of detail of tiger.

Thing is 2 yrs ago I got a tiger whole body with grass on my leg about a ft long. Only cost $129.This tat is smaller. I dont know why so much more.

Is it really the detail? Someone said maybe because of the name.Then my husband thought about it. Is it possible they would charge me two prices cause Im adding the name? They really didnt say when priced it out n I just figured that was how they priced it. Im just asking is that how it works. My husband told me I should just go with it Its worth it I worked hard n deserve something.

Now I picked out another tat Flowers going down with name in middle then more flowers. same price.I thought maybe little cheaper..I know I must sound cheap but I feel bad spending so much money from our refund. Im not complaining just asking how pricing works..What do you think?

Yes the detail can make a difference. Things like colour etc.

That being said, I would not pay anything UNDER 200 for a nice detailed tattoo that size. You want something like a tattoo to be the best it possibly can be.

So i wanted to get a tattoo of a butterfly on my wrist but i wanted it to be at least somewhat creative and so i was thinking a tigers face in the wings ? save a few bucks don't get tattoo that's kinda rediculous in my opinion sorry don't hurt yourself what's the point cutting your wrists I mean you seem like you're intelligent person you wrote a clean understandable intelligent paragraph I think you have a lot more going for a than you think I dig tattoos but not over your wrist to avoid cutting them I think that's kind of not with purpose of a tattoo is that body art but it's really not to save you from cutting your self but if that's what it takes go for it I'll do the tattoos free

I look like a friggen tiger! Does any one else has REALLLY bad stretch marks and are jealous of those without?

Q. My stomach and hips are absolutely covered in stretch marks..not that it bothers me a great deal but i cant help but wish i was one of those ladies who doesn't get stretch marks, or one of those ladies that gets them and you can hardly notice them. Now i'm 15 weeks pregnant and to me and others i look quite big for 15 weeks they are even more noticable. I love being pregnant its just i really do look like a friggen tiger, i cant take any belly pics without a shirt covering them because i'm kinda embarrassed by them. Normally this wouldn't bother me but i see sooooo many women with belly pics and hardly no noticeable stretch marks and it makes me so emotional i guess thats from being pregnant, Anyway i just wanted to know if there are any other ladies out there who feel like i do.

OMG i hate hate hated my stretch marks, once a few months after my first i went out dancing. I was very weary and didn't want my stretch marks to show (i have particularly deep and wide ones on my hips, i too carried very big) when i lent over the bar my top crept up a little and the guy next to me very intrusively lifted my top a little and at the same time said "nice tattoo, can i take a peek" OMG i was mortified it happened so quick i couldn't even stop him. Then he realized they were stretch marks and was like "Oh s s sorry" and then fled leaving me red faced and at that point missing my pj's and bed :(
Lol it makes me giggle now (3 bubba's later) I have just grown to except them. It also helps to have a partner who loves my body exactly as it is. I barely notice them now. However, i hate my yucky saggy belly with a passion. No matter how thin i get it is still yuk. Tummy tuck here i come lol
don't even worry about the other women's bellies, one of my good friends had a baby about 2 yrs ago. Me and my partner went to visit her like 3 days after birth. I asked her about how she felt. She was like "i feel great" and lifted her top and had a gorgeous tanned, no stretched mark stomach that looked like she was a little bloated from like a period or something. I was thinking argh WHY am i the only person i know with a million stretch marks. My partner was so cute though when we were on the way home he asked if i wanted to secretly punch her when she lifted her top and showed her perfect post baby belly. Lol god love him.
I wouldn't worry about missing the photo's of your belly the trillions of baby photo's you'll take will completely make up for it :)
