im planning on getting a tattoo. i would really like a butterfly tattoo but relatively small, does anyone know where a good place would be to get it on my body, preferably not my wrists or hands.
also have any ideas what are some other good small tattoos for girls?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'smallâ. Small butterflies will look good in many areas of the body. . Something to consider when getting smaller tattoos - wanting a larger tattoo in that area later, or adding smaller tattoos to that area in the future. Your profession may play a deciding factor as well.

The shoulder, ribcage, lower back, chest, lower abdomen, buttocks, thigh, lower leg, and top of foot⦠these are common areas my female clients ask for butterflies.

As far as small tattoos for females â anything that does not contain an extreme amount of detail, once again depending on how small you are referring too.

Stars, hearts, skulls, dragonflies...the list could go on for a while. Astrological symbols do well as âsmallâ tattoos, as well.

Find something that has some meaning for you.

Q. I would like to get another tattoo.

My first tattoo was a butterfly on my foot (which in my opinion i thought it was very painful)

I would like another tattoo, are there certain parts of your body that may be a little less painful ?

Im wanting to get a small tattoo, nothing big.

Any suggestions of where to get it that wont be as painful as my foot?

Areas with more nerves, fatty areas such as thighs and buttock area, will hurt more and of course near or on top of bone so upper arm or top shoulder blades aren't too bad.
Also some tattoo artists have heavy hands that make it hurt more.
My tattoo artist normally has a light/ quick hand so when I started the outline of my sleeve it didn't hurt but he had to use more pressure to penetrate the color because I have soft skin not ideal for color tattoo's.

Trust me. The more original and colorful, the sexier.

A black playboy bunny silhouette is a turnoff for most tattoo enthusiasts.

So is a butterfly on the ankle.

So it a tribal tramp stamp.

Think of something unique, something colorful and beautiful. Maybe a koi fish or a bird. Or something that represents your personality.

A tattoo is (mostly) permanent. You'll want something you'll be proud of for the rest of your life.

They don't hurt much. They're more annoying than anything.

I'm thinking about getting a tattoo and I was wondering where? I was thinking a treble clef on the back of my neck? Is that tacky?

I was also thinking is it tacky or ugly for women to have tattoos? If I didn't get the neck tattoo I would put it on my back or perhaps on my leg. What do you guys think? Also, what should I get? Every girl in the world has a butterfly tattoo, what else would be really feminine?

Hi I am a 25 year old guy living with my girl friend, She recently saw few pictures on the Internet of women with tattoos on their body and now she too is intent to go for tattoo on her body. Some of the tattoos were really artistic for me too. But what I am astonished to know is she saw Katie Price Jordan's tattoo of heart above her Pubic area and cute butterfly tattoo of a playboy model on her buttock. Now she too wants a similar tattoos on her pubic area and buttock. She already has naval piercing done last year and her body looks pretty much as similar to Katie Price. Should i encourage her to go with it. If she is happy with it I am happy too and I love her a lot. She even has found the place where the tattoo is done and has the designs of the right tattoos she wants at those places too.

A bit scared that the tattoos on those private areas might hurt her a bit. Just confused whether to let her have the tattoos. She loves tattoos from many years by the way.

all tattoos hurt no matter how many people say they dont. it depends on where you get them, how sensitive your skin is, and how tolerable you are with pain. i think on my hip hurt mre than my stomach and wrist. but if she has her belly button pierced, chances are she'll be ohkay. just hold her hand while she's getting it done (:
