Shoulder blade, foot, wrist sound good but would hurt.

I want a little ribbon too

Danel

I was wondering if anybody knows where I can find any pictures of this tattoo I like of a butterfly. It's actually two halves of a butterfly, but when you put your wrists together, it makes a full butterfly. Any help would be appreciated. :)
I'm not actually interested in getting the tattoo, by the way. I just want to show it to somebody I know, because I liked it. :)

Answer
Hmm...try the 3 websites I've listed below...

1) http://www.checkoutmyink.com/
2) http://www.everytattoo.com/
3) http://www.tattoofinder.com/

As for the two halves of a butterfly, that's something an artist would do when you give them the design. You can do that too with photoshop.

I hope the above helps...

Getting a tattoo because it's pretty - opinions?

Q. I'm 16, looking to change my image. I've been a little obsessed with tattoos lately. I'm thinking of getting a butterfly tattoo on my wrist - but purely just because I think it'll look nice. However, I know a lot of people moan about that type of thing, "pointless" tattoos, getting a tattoo for the sake of it. Should I only get tattoos that actually MEAN something to me? For instance, I also want to get the japanese characters for "life" tattooed on me somewhere, partly because I like Japanese culture, but mainly because I've been having suicidal thoughts lately and I want to get something to remind me of the joys of living, I suppose. Is the japanese tattoo therefore better than the butterfly tattoo? I'm planning on getting both, but, in your opinion, is it dumb to get a tattoo just because it looks nice?

Answer
Don't worry about what other people think about your tattoo. I have multiple that are very meaningful to me but I also have a few that I've just always loved the way it looks and wanted it on my body and I'm not afraid to tell people that. One thing I would suggest, unless you know what you're doing the rest of your life (job wise) don't get it on your wrist. A lot of places frown upon tattoos in general but especially ones that are visible in a work uniform. A butterfly or japanese writing would look good on the back of your neck. Or your shoulder blade, that's where my first tattoo was. Partially because I wasn't allowed to get it on my arms because of work and it was a bigger area which allowed there to be more detail.

I am wanting a tattoo on my side, like at the side of my hip, running up onto my ribs?

I am a girl. I already have a small butterfly tattoo on my hip and a tattoo on my wrist.
any ideas?

Answer
A friend of mine has a tattoo on his rib area, it is a latin proverb and it looks great.

I am pursuing a nursing career in Neonatal or pediatrics. I do have 1 visible tattoo on my wrist and one that possibly can be on my upper arm. In your oppinion is this offensive? What do you think of a nurse with tattoos? They are not offensive. The one on my wrist is a flower with my dauthers name and the one on my upper arm is a butterfly. Please answer honestly. If you were a parent and you saw me as you childs nurse with a tattoo what would you think?

Answer
i don't think there is anything wrong with them since they aren't bad tattoos.

I am looking to get a butterfly wrist tattoo, what the averge cost of one?

Jessica

What is the average cost of wrist tattoo? If the size range from the size of a half to one that was 2 1/2 inches wide. Whether its colored with one more colors.

Answer
That will HUGELY depend on your artist, the design itself, and your area you live in. I know that's not the response your looking for but that's as honest as I can possibly be.... A simple butterfly can range from $60 to $1000 +

For your best answer you will have to go to your tattoo shop, pick one out, or draw it out, of have someone there help you design it, and they will gladly price it for you so you know how much its going to cost. Also shop around for your prices, you don't buy a car from the first dealer you walk into, tattoos are a lifetime. :)

Tip for shop hunting... Check their bathrooms, its a good indication of how clean their shop really is!

This likely isn't what you wanted to hear but I hope in some way its helpful! :)
