Can my tattoo be covered even though...?

Q. Sigh, so I go a tattoo when I was 16. I can here the lectures now! I am now 24 and I so regret it. It's a butterfly with tribal designs (a back tattoo) on my ANKLE. It's so dark and big though. Most people don't realize there is even a butterfly there until they look closer. The memory is also bad. But I don't know if I could even get it covered because of the size and darkness of it. I thought of trying to get it lasered and putting a new one there but I know it will cost about $300 for the laser and how ever much for the new one.

I got a tattoo of a bee (it was dark...mostly all black...very little bit of yellow). It looked like a fly! It was awful. Suicide prevention/support/awareness tattoo ideas?

Okay so a few years ago I stopped a friend from committing suicide and it's affected me so much. I would tell the story but you'll all get bored and all you really need to know is its something that means a lot to me and has affected me intensely. So I've been thinking about tattoo idea that could portray my passion in helping people overcome suicidal thoughts and such but I don't know what I could do. Keep in mind I'm only 16 so I won't be getting one anytime too soon maybe a few years down the road if its something I still really want and care about. All the tattoos I've seen online are more for people who have overcome suicide for themselves, I've never self harmed or done anything of that nature to myself so it doesn't really apply to me. I just wanted to know if you have any ideas in which I could do for a tattoo? Preferably very small but It depends on the design, preferably nothing bigger than the size of say an iPhone. Something small I think looks much more classy and meaningful, oh and I would put it on my wrists though because since the prevention incident thing I said earlier I haven't been able to look at my wrists without cringing.. Please dont gove me any answers like no dont ever get a tattoo their horrible! or wait til youre older! or anything like that, i did say i would wait til im older wothout a doubt and who knows i may not even want it by then. Okay sorry of this was too long, any ideas are appreciated please and thank you!

I've heard yellow butterflies are symbolic of suicide prevention, perhaps look into that?

i want something that is inspiring but depressing. ive had a hard past with drugs. running away, addictions. nd im currently overcoming all of that, i want something meaningful to me.. any ideas?

I haven't gone through what you have, but I had an abusive childhood, I'm a rape victim, and I've had a child die. (he was stillborn) So I designed this tattoo: It's a colorful butterfly (red, orange, yellow) sitting on a vine with thorns and rose buds. It wraps around my bicep. The meaning behind it is "Through the love and the pain that I've endured in my life, I can still spread my wings and fly."
I hope you can find something that works for you.

Plus, I want to congratulate you on your courage to overcome all of the negatives in your life and come out on top!

Remember to be absolutely positive of the design of the butterfly itself before you get it. Ink's forever (Unless you want to get it removed, of course). The following link has numerous designs of butterfiles, just tell your tattooist where you want the colours to be different on them. ;)

So I want to get a butterfly tattoo going down my foot (top of the foot). Something thats not too big.. Im trying to find a nice butterfly with maybe another design to elongate the tattoo. Can Anyone Draw or give me a idea for a tattoo for My Two Best Friends and I? 2 Of Us are Girls and the Other is A Male. We cant get anything that is girly... If You can Draw something.... i'm thinking you all get celtic knots that are identical. you can do different colors but as long as the design is the same you are set.
that way if for some reason you don't stay friends you still have a cool tattoo and it's your fave color.

i want one no larger then the size of a womens fist and no smaller then the size of a half dollar. i would like it to have some color in it like blue, green, yellow, or purple (it doesnt have to be all of them) but i also want some black in it to. i would like it to be elegant and very feminine and very realsistic. i have also heard that a tattoo that will last longer has bold colors and not more then 4 colors, i would definately like a long lasting tattoo.

I want to get a tattoo for both sets of grandparents, and I want it to be one tattoo, not two, to show that they are one and not seperated. For one side, I want to get a sled, for all of the times in their backyard. For the other, a bar stool--they owned and lived over a bar. I want flowers surrounding/as the backdrop. Do you think an artist could find a way to make these two things that don't go together GO TOGETHER in one cohesive piece? I think if they could pull it off it would really be awesome.

Many women choose the rainbow toned butterfly. The colors can be placed in many different hues. They can be done in two color sets, three, four, and five or higher. A popular choice is purple, violet, green, light blue, pink, and yellow. If your tattoo artist is good, this tattoo looks great on the skin. The sizes can vary, but I would prefer 3inch by 3inch design. But, the ending choice is yours. They don't look right with 5 colors that small, but two will work for those of you that prefer a smaller tattoo.

I hate when people say read this link it will help cuz it doesn't. Pick the butterfly you like and pick the flower you like. If you suck at drawing trace then so they look they way you want it 2 look. That way you get the tattoo you want and like and you can be happy
