Using a compass, and the butterfly flying north, surrounded by poppy flowers. Each has a specific meaning only the artist and patron, knows. I would think it represents someone overcoming a heroin addiction, changing into something beautiful, heading in a different direction.

Email him to ask if they are opium or ornamental poppies.

I want a rose with a butterfly on top and down by the stem I want a ribbon that I can put a name in.

Here's a rough sketch of what I came up with(the picture quality does it less justice). Hopefully it gives you some idea that you can take to a tattoo artist and he or she can make you something amazing =)
