I got it 4 days ago, its like flaking, the butterfly has like white flakes on it ive been moisturzing it with the after ink lotion they give me..is this normal ?

i got this for my cousin who recently passed away, were italian, and she belived butterflies symbolized after death in a good way

DONT PUT VASELINE ON IT. Continue to moisturized with the oinment/unscented lotion.
