My grandma, mom, sister and I want to get a generational tattoo. We just aren't sure what to get, any ideas?

We don't want anything very big because we are most likely all going to get the tattoo at different spots. We were looking at a butterfly tattoo but we aren't sure. Any ideas or pictures you have would be great!!! Thanks! :)

Do some research and maybe you can find an image of a family crest.

I almost got a tattoo of the star signs (aries aquarius etc) of all the members of my family small enough that I could add to it in the futute if my family grew.

Or maybe a tree (ie: family tree) but you could have an image that represents each member of the family. For example I am obsessed with shoes so there could be a shoe hanging off my branch.

Anything that you could add too would be nice since you may someday have children and wish to add them to it.

Let's say at your job, this new girl that works there shows everyone a naked photo of her "privatey" with a butterfly tattoo and she text messages it to everyone around her and they're saying "wow I'm going to get one just like that!" (all the girls)

Would you report her or keep quiet?
