Q. Iâve been wanting a generic butterfly tattoo on my chest near my collarbone, but I wanted to make it somewhat unique, my mother isnât an artist but I thought Iâd get her to just one try no washing off and redoing, have her draw one on me and have the tattoo artist make it permanent.

whatever you feel looks good girlie. but yeah if it is drawn by someone (especially someone you know) then it is one of a kind and not quite as generic. ;) go with your gut!

I got a tattoo a year ago and it got infected really bad so I decided to get I fixed before summer comes , I got 3 butterflies one pink one purple one blue .. the pink one is turning btown, the purple is fine and the blue looks like the color is coming out. What should I do ???It's my only colored tattoo and the only one that ever got weird like this.

Go to other shops and get their opinions on why it is doing it. If there is any hint that you improperly cared for it: live with it or get it fixed. If it is because the shop didn't do something right and that is the only option; then go back to the shop that did it and ask for it to be redone, or live with it.

It is very possible that you are allergic to the inks that were used. You didn't say where they are located, but if they are in an area where you get full sun quite frequently, you may be experiencing some issues due to the ink reacting with bright sunlight. Keep in mind, inks are not regulated for use in tattoos. So there could be anything that is used and it may or may not be suitable for tattooing.
