I need tattoo help..?

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo for a while now and I know what wording I want, which is this http://pinterest.com/pin/15762667417062486/ but I'm not sure where to get it or if I would need to add something to it so that it's not so plain or anything -- any ideas?
I want the phrase "Never let your fears decide your fate"
The phrase means a lot to me and serves as a reminder.

Realize that the letters need to be no smaller than 1/2" tall to hold up well over time and not blur and turn into a blob.
Pick out the font that you would like, make it the approximate size and copy it and tape it to different spots on your body to see how you feel about each and how cloths work or interfere with it.
It's a good quote, and depending on the font and placement for your body type, it could look good.
It could go around an ankle, be on your shoulder blade or thigh, it could be with a flower, or a butterfly or a bird or something that is meaningful to you.

Opinions on this tattoo please!?

So, for my birthday my parents said I could get a tattoo. I really want this one, because it's a reminder of the struggles I have faced in the past few years. It reminds me to stay strong and not give up. Here's the tattoo:

The only problem is, my parents don't exactly approve of it. My dad said it isn't feminine enough because it has an anchor. I know that in the end it's my opinion that matters most, but I am curious what other people think.
Is this tattoo not feminine enough? And if so, what can I do to make it better. Or, does anyone have suggestions for a tattoo that resembles struggles and staying strong through them.

Any advice is really appreciated thank you!

Hey hun how are you...I truly like the tattoo! U sound a lot like me..I'm getting a tattoo also, for my birthday in a couple of days and was going to get the word 'strength' on the bottom of my foot along with the butterflies flowing up my leg because of my past as well, I've been thru a lot and some tough situations before! But im here to say, Don't listen to wht people say, its your body and if you like it thats all that matters! Not everyone will like it, sure! but that goes w/ everything in life so thats why we have to listen to our hearts and go with our own opinions...I think that is beautiful tho.and I love it..personally, i like the anchor cause the tattoo wouldnt be the same without it, bc it matches the quote perfect..good luck :) and thanks for answering my question..
