Covering up wings tattoo on wrist. Which do you think will work best? Please answer?

Cassandra

Okay so about a year ago I got wings tattooed on my wrist and at the time I thought they looked good. But now I'm ashamed to let anyone see it because I hate how they look. People always ask what it is, and tell me it looks like so many different things. This weekend I am going to see if I can get it covered up with a different tattoo. I don't know if you have to have a certain design to cover it up but I'm going to try and go with a butterfly. A blue butterfly because the meaning of it is beautiful.

Here's my messed up wings: http://m804.photobucket.com/albumview/albums/vicecassy11/D3F41001-3D98-4168-82F9-D63186410075-5318-0000025F3705A405.jpg.html?newest=1&pbauth=1_uLEBonVPfaLdh1h3YMYz2fxXAmMOR6mfBLuHVrt3aLbsvlKGOOcFNCaRrS904SLAlrxIasc4pbyOY5FmXMYn8WiabKEX%2BK88z0k5lKMaNFcnE9cCrsN0SP%2FVsZzff%2FAtXskphySe929y%2BwXC8U%2BvmbtN%2B1P0BpRKA9%2FKyIz%2Bltc%3D&pbauth=1_uLEBonVPfaLdh1h3YMYz2fxXAmMOR6mfBLuHVrt3aLbsvlKGOOcFNCaRrS904SLAlrxIasc4pbyOY5FmXMYn8WiabKEX%2BK88z0k5lKMaNFcnE9cCrsN0SP%2FVsZzff%2FAtXskphySe929y%2BwXC8U%2BvmbtN%2B1P0BpRKA9%2FKyIz%2Bltc%3D

I'm really wanting this: http://m804.photobucket.com/albumview/albums/vicecassy11/DF6F34B9-D9FC-4928-A6B1-15DB7A80E274-5318-0000025F4276E898.jpg.html?newest=1&pbauth=1_uLEBonVPfaLdh1h3YMYz2fxXAmMOR6mfBLuHVrt3aLbsvlKGOOcFNCaRrS904SLAlrxIasc4pbyOY5FmXMYn8WiabKEX%2BK88z0k5lKMaNFcnE9cCrsN0SP%2FVsZzff%2FAtXskphySe929y%2BwXC8U%2BvmbtN%2B1P0BpRKA9%2FKyIz%2Bltc%3D&pbauth=1_uLEBonVPfaLdh1h3YMYz2fxXAmMOR6mfBLuHVrt3aLbsvlKGOOcFNCaRrS904SLAlrxIasc4pbyOY5FmXMYn8WiabKEX%2BK88z0k5lKMaNFcnE9cCrsN0SP%2FVsZzff%2FAtXskphySe929y%2BwXC8U%2BvmbtN%2B1P0BpRKA9%2FKyIz%2Bltc%3D

or this only in blue: http://m804.photobucket.com/albumview/albums/vicecassy11/2E4C581D-4BB6-4492-BDD9-B4F08B434050-5318-0000025F4370B918.jpg.html?newest=1&pbauth=1_uLEBonVPfaLdh1h3YMYz2fxXAmMOR6mfBLuHVrt3aLbsvlKGOOcFNCaRrS904SLAlrxIasc4pbyOY5FmXMYn8WiabKEX%2BK88z0k5lKMaNFcnE9cCrsN0SP%2FVsZzff%2FAtXskphySe929y%2BwXC8U%2BvmbtN%2B1P0BpRKA9%2FKyIz%2Bltc%3D&pbauth=1_uLEBonVPfaLdh1h3YMYz2fxXAmMOR6mfBLuHVrt3aLbsvlKGOOcFNCaRrS904SLAlrxIasc4pbyOY5FmXMYn8WiabKEX%2BK88z0k5lKMaNFcnE9cCrsN0SP%2FVsZzff%2FAtXskphySe929y%2BwXC8U%2BvmbtN%2B1P0BpRKA9%2FKyIz%2Bltc%3D

Do you think it will work? And which butterfly do you like best? Thank you so much!

Answer
I personally like the second butterfly better, but either one should easily cover up the wings, and you can't go wrong with that.

Can anyone suggest a tattoo image that means "Change"?

Miss Taylo

I already have two tattoos and I'm looking to possibly get a third very soon. I know I eventually want to have many tattoos, but I'm trying to space them out over several years.

My question is that I'm looking for an image that symbolizes change, growth, rebirth, and maturity, in a general way.

My first two tattoos were flat, black images. I designed the first one myself and the second was an image I chose and presented to my tattoo artist. Neither were 3D or detailed, and both were rather small.
I want something bigger now, with detail and color. The place I have in mind is my left shoulder, possibly from the tip of the shoulder to my middle back.

I don't want something that is culturally "popular" or an image that is the "in" thing. Just suggestions that I can work with and mold into something uniquely ME. I've heard "phoenix", "flowers", "yin and yang", and "butterfly" so far. The phoenix idea is growing on me, but none of the others sound appealing to me.

Thanks for help!

I disagree. Not all tattoos symbolize change. Every piece has a meaning to the person getting it, and it's not "change" for every single person. That's why I'm asking for help. So I appreciate the people that are offering their advice, not their criticism. Thanks.

Answer
A phoenix rising from the ashes!!! I think if it was done right on a chick it would be so hot!! If you have a good artist he/she could work in the oranges, reds and yellows to make it pop out and look real bright.. Yeah and to the moron that said ALL tattoos represent change just needs to shut up, I have a half sleeve and one half of my lower leg done and neither of them have anything to do with change.
