What flower goes with a butterfly tattoo?

angel g

I'm getting a pink butterfly tattoo on my birthday at the end of this month, and I'm looking for a pretty flower to go with it. I do not like roses. I was thinking about the cherry blossom flower but that's also pink and I just think the tattoo would be too much pink. The way the butterfly is positioned looks like it's landing on something (side view).

I was also thinking of putting some vines or swirls around the butterfly and flower.

Please let me know what you think or send me some pictures of good ideas for my tattoo.

I've googled and bing'd so much for the past week and I just cannot find any design I like.

Pink daisy, just get one with different shade of pink from the butterfly

Or a pink Zinnia

Actually orange flower should be nice with pink butterfly if you like it. Imagine the flower is orange and the butterfly is pink

Otherwise a blue Iris should be nice with pink too.

I don't which position of the flower will be the best because I didn't get to see the butterfly and I am not a tattooist so better that you discuss with him/her when you made up your mind on the flower to do.

Rainbow colored butterfly tattoo equal gay pride? Lesbian/gay/bi?

Answer
Yes. The rainbow is a symbol of differences. It is something that shows that certain things or people can be different and love each other.

For instance, each of the colors of the rainbow are different, and they're just colors by themselves. But when they are displayed together, it shows how they can be each different, and still work together.

Gays/Lesbians use the rainbow for this reason. To symbolize that different people (including those that love differently like homosexuals) are not the problem, and that we need our differences to make the world beautiful.

If we were all the same, it would be like seeing only one color in the rainbow. How exciting would that be? Since we are different, it's like an array of colors. That's what makes the world seem beautiful!

idk what the butterfly part means but yes all in all it means gay/lesbian pride :)
