butterfly tattoo new school image
Cat
I want to audition for a small part in a school play since my voice sucks and I can only sing high. Anyways, I need advice on how to get rid of stage fright first since I have to audition and if I get the part, I have to sing in front of friends, classmates, and others.
Also the last time I auditioned in front of people, I started saying it instead of singing it.
Answer
Whenever I go up there on that stage and perform, I realize that "Hey, this isn't so bad really". I (like many people) always get the butterflies in stomach/nauseous feeling before I go up there.
Once you go up there (performing, not auditioning), you look at your audience and see that they have little experience and knowledge of what is supposed to happen. Most people who go to this play probably don't know the backstory and came there to support everyone :) So don't worry, if you mess up, the show will go on and most likely no one will notice.
Now auditioning, it's always scary but what the people look for is comfort. Are you comfortable doing what you're doing? Each judge has an interpretation already tattooed in their mind of the character you are auditioning for, and you're probably not a mind reader (if you are, omg awesome) and you can't change yourself to fit their criteria. However, judges are very open minded and will take you as long as you are comfortable and know and love the part. So don't worry! You'll do great! Don't take criticism too hard, it's what the whole business is about. :)

theyre not all great but there's some ideas.
if you dont want the faces/skulls, you can either play around with them or if you dont draw take them into a studio and ask them to make it more custom for you, it doesnt cost anything.
good luck.
