For all teenagers. What do you think of this small scene in my new book?

Tenderman bowed forward and held a fragment of the broken mirror. He gazed at the reflection of his hooky nose and wrinkled face with its black bags that ran under his eyes. Intewining lines disfigured his forehead. They formed an x at the left side, a y on the right side, and in between them a circle with a black point in the center, all scratched mercilessly over his wide forehead. He threw the mirror to the ground. He couldnât look any longer. The pain inside of him thrived on such images of physical torture, images from his past, images that shaped his future and present. They were indispensable.

Some one knocked at the door. Tenderman placed the mirror over the chair and walked to the door, wondering who would come at such a time, especially that he wasnât expecting anyone.

âWhoâs there?â He said, looking through the peephole.

A man dressed in a leather jacket with the tattoo of a butterfly over his face smiled at the peephole. âButterflies are always welcome guests, Tenderman.â

âEdwin,â Tenderman opened the door and hugged the man with the butterfly tattoo. âMissed you my friend.â
