I HAVE A TAT AND I WANTED TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT WITH IT BECAUSE IM NOT PUTTING A TAT ANYWHERE ELSE ON ME.. SO ITS BLACK I WANT COLOR WOULD THAT WORK? I HAVE'NT GONE TO SEE ANYONE YET?? I DONT NO WHAT TO DO I JUST WANT SOMETHING NEW..

Your going to have to go to a really good tattoo artist. Depending on how much black there is to the tattoo. More than likely you're going to have to get something dark, color wise, like purple, blue, dark maroon red, ect.

do you consider it cheesy to get a tattoo of your star sign symbol?

also, do you think the quote "what is essential is invisible to the eye" is too long to get as a tattoo.
i don't want a massive, really obvious tattoo.

First off, nothing is cheesy for a tattoo, if it is personal, well thought out, you love it, and you make it as high of quality with a skilled tattoo artist, that you can. Then do excellent care during healing and for life.
It is yours, and your personal choice, having nothing to do with fad, other's opinion, etc. Your body.

Now, as to your ideas: all of them are fine and can be turned into great tattoos ... or 'cheesy' tattoos, .. depending on the image, and who does the work.

So, your star sign, don't chose common images and designs. Find unique artwork of your sign, or have it done simply, but by someone you love and have it copied, or design it yourself, or take your idea and images that appeal to you to your skilled and experienced tattoo artist, and have him/her draw up a custom design for your approval.
